NEW BALANCE 990BON

Blair M. was the first person I've seen with this classic 990v2 colorway; I searched and searched and could never find them (not even in smaller sizes). They were like a fictional unicorn. One day I was searching one of the many NB group pages on Facebook and there they were! Across the pond, and owned by someone who worked at a famous footwear boutique in Australia. Little communication needed to happen, before this lovely pair fell flat in my lap. Thanks again man…you know who you are!

The leather was in a lot better condition than I thought it would be; the shoe was still firm and seemed to be well taken care of. The only signs of vigorous wear was found on the midsole where you could see some of the paint started to peel, which was not big deal to me.

The vibrant yellow liner and embroidery is my favorite feature next to the 3m layered ‘N’ found on the saddle.

This is a prime example of why I think the 990v2 should go down as one of the best 99X models!
