ASHLAND LEATHER 'JOHNNY THE FOX' - REVERSE CORDOVAN

I purchased my first Ashland Leather piece back in April 2018, and the rest is history. My original purchase was this same wallet, but in all black. Though I love it…I would kick myself over and over after Phil or Matt of Ashland Leather would post these Reverse Cordovan colorways that had hints of green in the leather grain. It wasn’t until 2020 where I’d end up purchasing one and damn….these are works of art.

When it came time to purchase my wallet, I asked for them to show me all of the green’s they had left in-stock after their heavy hit from the holiday season. There were 5 to choose from and I chose this one because of the longterm transformation.

Lately I’ve been gravitating towards accessories and apparel that will patina beautifully and tastefully. I told Phil and Matt that I’d document the patina transformation on a quarterly basis or bi-annually. I haven’t decided yet. These will be the photos used for comparison.

I’m a fan of conversation pieces, and this wallet is that and then some! The quality and colors are sure to catch anyone’s eye.
