NEW BALANCE 998NB1: SHIMIZU

After reading my bio; you should know that my footwear craze started with the early models of Nike SB back when I was a freshman in high school. Collecting nothing but orange, silver, pink and some black box masterpieces...I was hooked on dunks of both low and high sorts. 

I've dabbled in making replica NB's that resembled some of my favorite dunks such as my 'Send Help' 574, but since then I've never pulled the trigger on another pair. It was fun creating them on NB's website, but the colors were never really spin-on to what I was looking for; until recently. 

Here is the 'Shimizu' 998; named after the 'Shimizu' Nike Dunk high that was released in 2004. This is a very simple colorway with subtle tones, but with a splash of color! The vibrant yellow heel was a killer touch on this pair. I thought it'd be wise to use the perforated option before it disappeared, being that I missed the first chance they gave us the option.
