LIFE IN 247 - TRITIUM PACK
'A day and a life in 247'
On Saturday, July 28th 2018; local professional photographer Patrick Lauder (@qu1ckworks) and I set out to bring you the content that built this post. It was hard to think of a fitting location to capture the new 247v2 shoe and its apparel, but Patrick already had the shoot planned from the point I introduced him to it. The open horizon across the Bay from the Alameda Naval Base was the ideal backdrop to compliment this new line launched by New Balance.
UPPER: New Balance 247 Sport Heavyweight Pocket Tee
Wow...when New Balance states that this is 'heavyweight' they mean it! This thick tee is made up of jersey fabric that could be found in some sweatshirts, but still makes for a relaxing choice. Like the Sport Jogger, this tee has a horizontal magnet colored 3M outline across the top of the chest pocket to make for easy visibility in the night hours. NB gave this specific tee a tasteful touch by adding the matching solar yellow colored logo to the sleeve that matches the 247v2 perfectly.
For me, finding a good fitting tee is somewhat difficult since I'm so tall; however this tee seems to be a little longer than most in the torso area so it sits just below my waist line which is great and is what I look for. This heavy tee will be perfect for autumn that is fast approaching.

LOWER: New Balance 247 Sport Jogger
Quality construction, sportability, and durability are just a few characteristics you can find in New Balance's apparel and footwear. The 2018 247 Sport Jogger possesses all of these qualities, and have some eye-candy to go along with them. The 2 front pockets are boldly acknowledged with magnet colored diagonal 3M outlining with a contrasting white 3M 'NB' logo sitting below. and in the rear of the pant you'll find one magnet colored horizontal 3M outline for the one rear pocket. The draw string system is equipped with rope lacing, and the cuffs are made of a sturdy elastic band that hug tight around the ankle.
Wearing these joggers are extremely comfortable, and could be worn as lounge pants around the house or going out on the town with your friends. You won't have to worry about being unnoticed in this sport jogger; as that tight cuff will leave all of the focus on the footwear you choose to pair with them.

FOOTWORK: New Balance 247v2 'Tritium'
New Balance nails it again with the 247v2; a perfect combination of lifestyle and sport comes back with a new and improved version! At first glance of the redefined 247 it's easy to be drawn to the new functional heel strap that wraps around to the upper lacing fixture. This feature is what stands out the most to me, but isn't alone; the new 247v2 also hosts the newly engineered REVlite midsole that is more free flowing and aesthetically appealing than the one found on the 1st rendition of the 247 model.
Slipping into the new 247v2 is supportive in the heel, but loose/breathable in the forefoot and toe, which I can guess is the result of the one-piece mesh toe and high sitting tongue. With that being said I'd like to recommend you going .5 size down from your normal sizing if you desire to purchase this shoe.
