NEW BALANCE x PATTA 920PTA
NB Lifestyle dropped jaws with the 327, derailed the hype train with the reintroduction of the 992, and has gave the 990v3 midsole the best upper possible with the new 920 in 2020. Even though the 920 is still new, this could be a cult classic if NB continues to run with it; it’s very light comfortable and airy. This 920 is something special though and will hold its spot in history as it is the first Patta x NB project to launch!
I figured since this is the newest collab currently that I’d come up with a new way of sharing my pictures so from here on out I’ll be doing this grid layout. Let me know how you like it or don’t like it.
Ok back to Patta….
This project didn’t hit mainstream headlines until about 2 weeks before the launch, and without a surprise…sold out in seconds via the patta website.
These sat laced up for a while now as I didn’t want to shoot them after I UNDS’d them. The brown and pink hues brought me down memory lane to the days I’d rock my Stussy x Nike Dunk Lows to High School. I decided to throw in the brown laces being that everyone put in the pinkish/3M laces. I particularly like when the laces don’t match the tongue color.
Given Patta’ s history in fashion and sneaker culture, I can promise you that this will not be their last project with NB but rather the gates of entry to hopefully some of the best projects we have seen. I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next!
