NEW BALANCE x HANON 990HBW
Hanon and NB have had a long history with each other through the years, and have made some serious marks with their collaborations, but no impression has stuck as strongly as these 990HBW’s. Just 1 year after their 1st collaboration with NB, Hanon fell out with this tasteful colorway that was unique to the Hanon shop. Hanon revisited the gold ‘N’ that was found on their prior collabs with NB and implemented that as being the only hint of color to lay on top of the black and cream suede and mesh upper.
On 11/22/05 Hanon would release just 198 pairs of 990’s, each with their own certificate of authenticity.
This was yet another pair gifted by TeamNB member Kainoa. I had a 10.5 from TeamNB member Jose, but when Kainoa offered these 11.5 I had to snag em as they were a better fit and also in better condition with the OG box and certificate. I later sold the 10.5 to a friend on Instagram at the same price I purchased them for.
