NEW BALANCE 998GR

Let’s take it back to what I consider the ‘golden era’ for the NB 998 and showcase these 998GR’s. The first thing I have to mention is the long tongue haha; this is my favorite part about these classic 998’s because it brings me back to wearing my SB dunks loose and having a flappy tongue in front of my selvedge denim.

To most, this is probably a pretty dull pair, but I like simplicity. Castlerock-like suede, light grey mesh, deep burgundy, and triple black heel cap with contrasting bright white lining. Originally these came with white laces, but I swapped them with MIG (made in Germany) SneakersER laces. The laces were a little short for this shoe, but I made them work.
