LEVI'S MADE & CRAFTED (TACK SLIM)

What does wine, leather, olive oil, denim, and delicates meat have in common? They get better with the correct aging process. Just last night I found myself infatuated with the fading process of selvedge denim though I’ve liked the physical appearance of raw denim since my early teens. This newly found interest guided me to begin documenting what I currently have.

These Made & Crafted ‘Tack Slim’ jeans were purchased back in 2013, but were only worn for special occasions hence the minimal wear fade. These are still unwashed selvedge denim, and I’m beginning to wear them more and more to gain the desired fades I’m after. Due to my occupation; I can only wear these on the weekend so the fade process will take some serious time and patience.

I’m not tough on my threads by any means, but I hope to break out of that shell a little bit and begin wearing these out to the garage to tinker on 1 of my 2 projects, out to the yard to tend to the garden, or out in the snow on our weekend getaways.

All edits were done with minimal color correction so you could hopefully see the natural color. I’ll revisit this pair in a year from now. Thank you for reading.
