NEW BALANCE x PATTA 991PAT
Patta dropped their first collaboration with NB late 2020 with their version of the newly introduced 920, and jumped right back into NB’s office with this project draped over the 991 silhouette. The 991 was offered in both men’s and women’s sizing + weren’t solely released at Patta but rather at a few retailers around the world.
2021 marks the 20th anniversary for the 991 so we can expect lots of colorways for the 991 this year, and I think its pretty fitting that Patta got the first 991 collab. Like their 920, you can find Patta’s name in a subtle script on the heel and their signature ‘P’ on the tongue. This pair came equipped with 3 lace choices (agave green, a blush pink hue, and dull yellow) all that would match corresponding panels of the shoe. I chose the green…obviously haha.
