GREASE POINT WORKWEAR 'JAPANESE BLACK SELVEDGE'

Do you work in an industry that is demanding for physical labor and don’t have clothing that can keep up? Grease Point Workwear may be your answer!

First off, I need to thank my longtime friend Broderick for introducing me to Amos Culbertson and his brand Grease Point Workwear (GP). My first introduction to the brand was late 2019 when I saw Broderick wearing a pair of hi selvedge denim, double-front pants in olive green. Sadly, I missed this colorway before GP sold out, but that didn’t stop me from trying the product.

I work in an industry that is demanding of physical labor; whether its working a hillside clearing trees and shrubs for firebreaks or assisting mechanic staff with motor and pump installation…I seem to put a toll on my workwear and it barely lasts a year. This is when I decided to give GP a shot!

GP’s workwear is fully customizable as you have to measure your own inseam and waist + choose whether or not you want a knife pocket. Amos is very helpful in assisting when it comes to choosing the precise measurements as the fabric may shrink or stretch. For my first pair I chose GP’s Japanese Black Selvedge (17oz) because I’ve never had a pair of black denim that I had the pleasure of watching fade over time.

I’ll be documenting the aging process of this pant as time progresses.
