KANGAROOS x TOMMY TRIGGAH x MORPRIME HYBRID RACER 'INSIDE JOB'
It’s been a while. I’ll be honest, I’ve been pretty involved selling my NB’s + focusing on my automotive projects, but this pair needed some attention as soon as they landed from across the pond.
The Tommy Triggah x Morprime Industries ‘Inside Job’ project was the 1st installment to KangaROOS’ UNITED series. These projects are meant to utilize the creative minds of ROOS enthusiasts, ambassadors etc. for design influence.
I spoke to Morgan from Morprime Industries on what the inspiration behind the ‘Inside Job’ was and his response was perfect. He considers him and Tommy always on the ‘outside’ of the industry and the culture, but with this project they know what the collectors want, and what the influencers want, so to them this is an inside job. Morgan states: “My kinda thing is…It’s a cool f****** shoe and has a cool name, and that’s all you need.”

I was at the airport boarding my flight to pick up my 67’ Mini in Portland, and knew I wouldn’t have internet access to purchase at the time of the drop. I voiced this predicament to Tommy who in turn reached out to Ted from Epic Store in the Netherlands. Tommy & Ted made this purchase happen for me, and a short 2 weeks later they would arrive on my doorstep.
