TANNERY SOUTH'S FADE LOG

After following the Indigo Invitational Instagram account going on 2 years now I’ve been motivated to start counting my days of fades for my newly purchased denim pieces. What I’ve been doing thus far was inputing days in my notes, until I stumbled across Tannery South’s Fade Log with a quick google search.

This leather fade log makes it easy to keep track of your wears, soaks, washes and specific info about whatever denim you’re clocking such as brand and model. Also, being that this log is made of quality leather, it’ll patina along with your denim.

Tannery South’s fade log is perfectly and conveniently sized for your 5th pocket (the little front pocket usually on the right side), but originally his log couldn’t count 1 year’s worth of wear. Evan from Tannery South and I conversed about this prototype that’s two sided and bonded together with tannery glue. I’m going to test this piece on my daily work work denim + weekend denim to see how the glue holds up.

Thank you Evan for putting this piece together! I can’t wait to see how it patinas alongside my denim.
