PATTA x NEW BALANCE 991V2

What’s up y’all! It’s been a while…I’ve been focusing on my car projects + enjoying the life as a new father, but I had to comeback to share with you one of my favorite releases of 2023. This is the new 991v2 model produced by New Balance UK that has had the creative touch from Patta.

I’ve been lucky enough to receive support from Patta since they debuted their first NB release (the 920, which in my opinion is the best of all 5 pairs). This time around they released 2 colorways of the newly introduced 991v2 silhouette (Pickled-beet) and (Sea Moss). The Sea Moss was an exclusive release amongst Patta’s chapter stores, and the Pickle-Beet will be the chosen one for a wider, more global release.

Both shoes come with 3 sets of laces (volt, gunmetal grey w/3m hits, and color matching laces to the shoe. They both come with an avocado green-like box with Patta branding. Both colorways have subtle Patta branding on the tongue and heel like they’ve done on their previous releases.

Personally, my favorite feature of this duo is the mesh used throughout the shoe. I’ve never seen mesh constructed in this manner and it really sets the shoe off! This is also my first 991v2 and I can tell you that this will be a classic NB model for years to come!
