MY INTRODUCTION TO SNEAKERSER
When I began this venture of collecting footwear in the early 00's the only cleaner I used was what was sold at the local Footlocker. Some of you may remember the aerosol can with the cap that had plastic bristles? Then for suede, we used the infamous magic eraser. Since then, the industry, and methods of cleaning have changed ten-folds. When Jason Markk first hit the market, I was terrified to use it because it was solution based, and I didn't understand had to use it. The 'unknown' deterred me from even trying it. Fast forward to 2016...This is when I was convinced that SneakersER would be the first solution based cleaner I'd be comfortable to use.
SneakersER was consistently on my news feed, featuring their results, products, and features. Come to find out, the folks that run it; Al and Rob are NB enthusiasts. Perfect match right? My first test-dummy was a pair of 998BD that I received from overseas that had significant suede damage and discoloration in the midsole. I used this as the perfect opportunity to not only try SneakersER's cleaner, but also their white midsole pen. Communication between Rob and I lasted for a few days so he could teach me the best methods to restore the suede's nap, and also best application process to apply the paint from the pen.
This is just one of many examples that SneakersER is a proven competitor in the shoe-restoration/cleaning game. I continue to use their product on a regular basis, as most of the time mother nature's elements tend to not mix with our clean shoes. Here is a short video on how to use their cleaner. Enjoy!
