NEW BALANCE 990CS

With hybrid NB models ruling the world of my chosen footwear; I wanted to touch on my favorite hybrid to date; this 990v2 upper was mated to the 991 midsole around 2006, and has found a permanent spot in my collection as I’ve been trying to hunt down all colorways.

I currently own 8 colorways of this model, and that wouldn’t be possible without the people I’ve met through social media and TeamNB. This pair came from a TeamNB member who was off-loading a lot of his pairs. I scrolled deep into his Instagram account to see what he had, and there these beauties were! 990CS in my size! I’ll be honest here, I didn’t know this color existed.

One coincidence that I laugh at, is that every time I pick up this model, there never seems to be the original box so all of them are in clear containers, which makes for some nice eye candy in my room. The only pair I own with the original box is the RS.

If you know where the 990MCY or 990BGDY are hiding in a US10.5-11.5 please let me know as I’m trying to put an end to my hunt.
